Teaser for "Dating Alone" Features Eunji and Kim Min Jong on a Cute "Date"

After the broadcast of “Witch Hunt” on January 19, JTBC revealed a teaser for upcoming dating variety show “Dating Alone” featuring actor Kim Min Jong and A Pink‘s Eunji who will be the first guest on the show.

Kim Min Jong is happily eating cup ramyun and says to Eunji, “It’s really good because you cooked it for me. It’s the best.”

The frame switches to Eunji who responds in worry, “But oppa now that you are older you should start caring about your health.”

Kim Min Jong says, “Oppa is fine with ramyun. And because we’re eating it together it’s really good.”

As the camera slowly zooms out, viewers see that Kim Min Jong is actually talking to Eunji through the laptop on his computer. The two are on a virtual date, in keeping with the concept of “Dating Alone.”

Kim Min Jong continues, “You’re going to cook me samgyetang (Korean ginseng chicken soup)? Oppa loves samgyetang! You must cook it for me. Put abalone in it too! Abalone samgyetang.”

“Dating Alone” is a variety dating program that attempts to understand the female dating psyche through virtual VCR dates with women. A reboot of “Imagination Love Battle!,” the show will have a talk show format but will be upgraded in various ways, including an audience text voting component.

“Dating Alone” will be helmed by MCs Kim Min Jong, Jun Hyun Moo, Sung Si Kyung, Jang Dong Min, and boy band Cross Gene’s Shin. The first episode will air on January 31, 11 p.m., KST on JTBC.
