Noel Mimics JYP and Park Hyo Shin on "After School Club"

Soompi will now be bringing you your idols’ English and interactions with overseas fans on “After School Club!” From requests to questions, the English format of the show gives overseas fans the opportunity to communicate more effectively with their favorite artists as the hosts translate from English to Korean and vice versa. Please expect our continuing coverage!

Veteran ballad group Noel joins special hosts Benji and NS Yoon-G on the show! Since Noel has been on the music scene for so long, the fans picked several keywords that they associate with the group.

1. Noel x … JYP [@32:53]

This comes as no surprise since the group debuted under JYP Entertainment. Kang Kyun Sung does his impression of JYP himself, and the group even makes a good-spirited jab at that infamous whisper!

2. Noel x … Park Hyo Shin [@36:54]

Though Noel doesn’t personally know solo artist Park Hyo Shin, they love his music and doing impressions of his old style. The group shows off this silly talent that they even admit to practicing when they are bored!

3. Noel x … ‘Propose Cover’ [39:09]

Many artists over the years, including 2AM and K.Will, have done covers of the beloved song, so it was bound to make the list! When asked which covers they liked the most, Kang Kyun Sung mentions that while all of the artists did wonderful covers, it was the silly ones that stuck in his head like comedian Jun Hyung Don‘s cover!
