“Kill Me, Heal Me” Is First Place in Its Time Slot

Kill Me, Heal Me” is currently beating its competitors (including “Hyde Jekyll, Me“) during the Wednesday-Thursday time slot.

On January 29, the latest episode received 11.5 percent ratings (Nielson Korea) and was in first place. This is the best ratings the drama has gotten so far, and the first time they broke into the double digits. Despite issues in securing a cast in the beginning, the drama has survived and is thriving.

“Kill Me, Heal Me” stars Ji Sung whose character has seven different personalities and his romance with Hwang Jung Eum’s character who becomes his secret doctor. The episode that had the highest ratings featured a kiss scene between Do Hyun (Ji Sung) and Oh Ri Jin (Hwang Jung Eum).

The following is a description of the scene. *Spoiler* Ri Jin points at Do Hyun’s heart and states, “Instead of saying ‘kill me,’ say ‘heal me’ from now on. You guys [the multiple personalities] will not die, but stay and live inside.” At this, Do Hyun sits up and holds Ri Jin’s fingers and kisses her. This scene most definitely contributed to high viewership.
