Shinhwa Drops Music Video for

On February 3, Shinhwa dropped the official music video for “Memory,” the title track of their 12th album “We.”

The soothing pop ballad was composed by songwriting team e.one (V.O.S’s vocal Choi Hyun Joon and songwriter Jung Ho Hyun), which has worked with EXO, SHINee’s Jonghyun, SM The Ballad, A Pink, and Fly to the Sky.

“Memory” reminisces on the past and reflects on present memories. The starting line goes, “Memories that stopped without a sound, pieces that have grown faint, the traces within people who pass you, myself in a completely empty space, my heart which has grown exhausted in the emptiness.”

The music video switches back and forth between footage of Shinhwa on tour and of a young girl walking through a forest, a field, and finally arriving at an ocean shore. All the while, she carries a feather, which she plants into the sand at the end of the video.

The release marks Shinhwa’s comeback after almost two years.  Their last album, “The Classic,” was released in 2013.
