Kim Jong Kook's Chinese Valentine's Day Concert Sells Out in Two Hours

It has been announced that tickets for Kim Jong Kooks Valentine’s Day concert in Beijing have sold out only two hours after being put on sale, selling at a rate of about one every ten seconds.

The speedy feat is due in large part to Kim Jong Kook’s rising popularity across Asia for his role in popular variety program “Running Man.” The show is especially popular in China, where a domestic version called “Hurry Up, Brother,” was recently created. The concert will be Kim Jong Kook’s first solo effort in Beijing.

According to Chinese media reports, the shortage of tickets stems from the organizer’s decision to hold the concert in a relatively small venue in an effort to provide a high-quality experience to audiences. Because of these size limitations, the decision has been made to make the concert available on youku.com, where fans unable to obtain tickets will be able to view a live stream of the show.

The concert is set to be held on Valentine’s Day at 7:30 p.m. local time.
