Song Jae Rim Reveals That His Mom Once Suggested He Get Double Eyelid Surgery

On the February 7 broadcast of KBS’ “Entertainment Weekly,” actor Song Jae Rim made an appearance and sat down for an interview with the entertainment news program.

When the reporter, Rainbow’s Jisook, made mention of the fact that many of the roles he has taken on in his productions over the years have been ‘killer’ roles, the actor responded by bringing up a story about his mother.

Song Jae Rim confessed, “I think it was because she thought I had such a strong impression, but my mother once suggested that I get double eyelid surgery so that I look more innocent.”

However, the actor continued to explain, “It’s a good thing I didn’t do the surgery. I didn’t know that the single lid would become a trend. From So Ji Sub sunbae-nim to Lee Jun Ki sunbae-nim,” causing laughter.
