A Pink Bomi Forced to Relive Childhood Trauma with Gas Chamber Training on

The February 8 episode of MBC‘s “Real Men” sees the female soldiers take on the feared gas chamber training. A Pink’s Bomi especially has a difficult time of it from the beginning, having to combat not only the present challenge, but her childhood experience with the gas chamber, as well.

While being trained on how to put on gas masks, Bomi panics and starts having difficulty breathing, eventually spilling tears, much to the surprise of the rest of the female soldiers.

She explains that when she was young, she went to a Marine camp, where she agreed to participate in experiencing a gas chamber without fully realizing what it was, and ended up punching through a window to escape the room.

On the show, the training is split into two groups, the first group made up of Kang Ye Won, Kim Ji Young, Park Ha Sun, and Amber, and the second group made up of Bomi, Ahn Young Mi, Lee Da Hee, and Lee Ji Ae.

All four members of the first group successfully complete the training, but things go much differently for the second group. Bomi, Ahn Young Mi, and Lee Da Hee are affected the most, and stumble out of the chamber prematurely, unable to gather their senses for some time even after leaving the chamber. In the end, only Lee Ji Ae is able to remain in the chamber until the end.

This episode of “Real Men” aired on February 8 at 6:15 p.m. on MBC.
