INFINITE’s Sunggyu and Girl’s Day’s Yura to Star in KBS’ New Web Drama

It has been reported that INFINITE’s Sunggyu and Girl’s Day’s Yura have confirmed their casting to star as lovers in KBS’ new web drama titled “Love Detective Sherlock K (working title).”

According to a broadcast official on February 9, “Girl’s Day’s Yura and INFINITE’s Sunggyu have been cast in the web drama ‘Love Detective Sherlock K.’ They will be working with the lead actress Han Chae Young. Crank in is planned for the end of February.”

The web drama’s storyline revolves around Sherlock K (played by Han Chae Young), a character who hides her beautiful looks and lives as a man. Sherlock K runs a ‘healing cafe,’ and it will be the actress’s first time trying her hand at portraying a woman disguised as a man.

Yura is said to be taking on the role of a top star with a lot of popularity, while Sunggyu will be acting as a second-generation chaebol (rich) playboy.

Meanwhile, “Love Detective Sherlock K” is expected to have a total of eight episodes and the exact broadcast date has yet to be determined.
