YG KPLUS Model Jung Yoo Jin to Debut as an Actress in "Heard It through the Grapevine"

Model Jung Yoo Jin, who is under YG‘s modeling agency YG KPLUS, will be debuting as an actor in the upcoming SBS drama “Heard It through the Grapevine.”

She will play the role of Jang Hyun Soo, an heiress who is a childhood friend of Han In Sang, played by Lee Joon. It is said that her character will also harbor feelings for Lee Joon’s character, who is in a relationship with Go Ah Sung‘s character.

Jung Yoo Jin debuted as a model in her teens, and had since walked the runway for many luxury brands like Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Chanel, and DKNY. She has also appeared in numerous fashion shoots and magazines.

She will be the seventh KPLUS model to debut as an actor, after model-turned-actors like Lee Sung Kyung (“It’s Okay, It’s Love“), Nam Joo Hyuk (“Surplus Princess“), Jang Ki Yong, and Stephanie Lee (“Seonam Girls High School Investigators“).

“Heard It through the Grapevine” will premiere on February 23.
