Kim Jong Kook Apologizes to Yoon Eun Hye for 'Running Man' Social Media Campaign to Get Her on the Show

Kim Jong Kook‘s associate told the media on February 11 that he has personally apologized to actress Yoon Eun Hye for the current social media campaign that has been happening to get her to guest on his variety program “Running Man.”

The associate said, “He has called [Yoon Eun Hye] himself to apologize for what has been happening.” They also commented, “He seems to feel really sorry as it may be stressful for her.”

They further continued, “Kim Jong Kook is also taken aback at how big this has become, as he just brought her up in passing. When he feels like he’s burdening someone, he can’t just let it go either. He had to call her himself to apologize.”

The “Running Man” star recently appeared on an episode of talk show “Healing Camp” and mentioned the popular actress, who appeared on variety show “X-Man” together with him in the early 2000’s. After the mention, “Running Man” started a social media campaign to get Yoon Eun Hye on the show.

Yoon Eun Hye has yet to comment on this issue.
