Teen Top's Niel Respects SHINee's Jonghyun and CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa

In light of his debut, Niel from Teen Top, opened up about his thoughts on the solo debuts of SHINee’s Jonghyun and CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa in an interview with OSEN.

“Jonghyun’s command of the stage is really amazing, and I think it’s really impressive how Jung Yong Hwa wrote his own songs for his solo album,” praised Niel. “I respect how good they are to the point that I’m a little nervous.”

As a solo artist, Niel wants to focus on becoming a respected musician. “I’m really happy that I’ll be able to show people my abilities as a solo artist, rather than as a member of Teen Top,” he said. “I worked really hard on the album.”

His first solo album features “oNIELy,” “Lovekiller,” “Only You,” and four other songs, totaling seven tracks.

The album will hit stores February 16, but his comeback to mainstream broadcasting will begin February 13.
