Hong Jin Young Would Date Openly If Her Boyfriend Wanted

Trot singer Hong Jin Young shared her thoughts on dating openly as a celebrity.

On the February 13 broadcast of SBS PowerFM radio program “2 O’Clock Escape Cultwo Show,” Hong Jin Young and actor Shim Hyung Tak appear as guests.

During the program, DJ Cultwo asks, “If you dated a celebrity would you go public with the relationship?”

Hong Jin Young replies, “I think it would depend on what [my boyfriend] wants. If [he] is okay with it then I am too.”

DJ Cultwo counters, “But what if you release a record after the dating announcement?”

But the singer insists, “Does it matter? If [my boyfriend] wanted it then I don’t care.”

Meanwhile, Hong Jin Young is currently hitched to actor Namgoong Min on virtual marriage show “We Got Married.”
