Hong Jong Hyun and Yura Openly Discuss His Dating Scandal with Nana through Honesty and Wit

“We Got Married” Girl’s Day‘s Yura eased the tension between her and Hong Jong Hyun after an honest talk about his dating scandal with After School’s Nana, by using her smart wits.

On the episode of MBC’s “We Got Married,” aired on February 14, Jong Hyun is careful around Yura the whole day, knowing that he is subject to possible criticism. His wariness, however, only makes her burst out into laughter.

During the start of the filming, she immediately sets up a time for them to talk about the scandal the moment Jong Hyun walks in, saying that she is ready to listen to what he has to say.

During the talk, he honestly opens up to his wife, saying, “Nana and I are good friends, so we have personally met to eat or grab a beverage. However, other friends were with us during those times.”

When Jong Hyun apologizes to Yura, another victim of the scandal due to the emotional whirlwind she went through as well, she holds up the antenna of a RC car and jokingly says, “You need a good whipping,” easing Jong Hyun’s tension.

She also wittily says, “I don’t think I can eat bananas anymore,” and “I think I won’t like the Teletubbies anymore.” Her statements made Jong Hyun laugh, as she incorporated Nana’s name in the word ‘banana,’ and also mentioned the children’s show “Teletubbies,” which includes a character with a name that sounds very similar to ‘Nana.’

Though he starts off the day tip toing around Yura, by the end of the day he is emotionally drained and says, “This is why people say not to expose your weaknesses during marriage.”
