Kang Ye Won Says None of the "Real Men" Female Members Wanted to Become the Next Hyeri

Actress Kang Ye Won talked about her appearance on “Real Men” and stated that “No one, including myself, went in hoping to be the ‘next Hyeri.'”

Hyeri of Girl’s Day received a lot of positive attention in the past after appearing on Real Men and melting hearts with her adorable charms.

Kang Ye Won shared her story in a recent interview, saying, “As we started filming, what worried me the most was that we would be compared to the female soldiers from the first season.” She then clarified that no one wished to be the next Hyeri.

She added, “Since it was a reality program, I decided to go on it because I thought it could be a very natural way to show myself. Since I didn’t do any research about the military before I went, I cried a lot and showed a lot of bumbling sides of myself. I’m actually embarrassed that unexpectedly, I also earned a lot of descriptive nicknames and attention.”

She also said, “But I never did anything because I wanted to be the second Hyeri. You can’t be calculating in the military. Every situation was real. I’m just thankful to the production team for editing it nicely.”

Kang Ye Won is currently appearing in the female soldier special on “Real Men,” and has gained quite a lot of attention for crying very easily. She also showed a new side of herself visually as well, with round glasses and pink cheeks.
