Sweet Sorrow's Im Ho Jin and Manager Catch a Drunk Hit-and-Run Driver

Group Sweet Sorrow‘s member In Ho Jin is earning praises after it has been revealed that he and his manager have caught a drunk hit-and-run driver in a random act of kindness.

According to a Sweet Sorrow associate on February 19, he said, “In Ho Jin and his manager was returning after MBC‘s ‘I Am a Singer‘ recording when they found a hit-and-run driver. They chased him and stopped him.”

They added, “Thankfully, neither of them are hurt. However, the hit-and-run victims, who are a married couple in their 50s, sustained serious injuries so we are all worried and sad about that.”

According that Seoul Seocho Police, In Ho Jin and his manager saw a driver hitting a married couple in their 50s who were crossing the road from the opposite lanes. After that, they immediately turned the car around, chased and stopped the drunk hit-and-run driver. The police were able to apprehend the hit-and-run driver right away due to their quick response.

The drunk hit-and-run driver, Kwon, said, “I thought I hit a garbage bag, not people,” and also said that he did not intend a hit-and-run.

The police indicted the driver without arrest for hazardous driving resulting in potentially fatal injuries.
