Bae Jong Ok Believes “Roommate” Will Help Her Become a Better Actress

Actress Bae Jong Ok exudes old Hollywood glamor in a new black and white spread for the latest edition of The Celebrity.

In the glamorous pictorial, Bae Jong Ok wears her pixie cut in elegant side locks and poses in fine jewelry and lavish yet classic outfits. We’re especially crazy about one outfit in particular where she pairs a dramatic, wide-brimmed fur head piece with pearls and an embroidered blazer.

In the corresponding interview, Bae Jong Ok opens up about her venture into reality television, namely her participation in SBS’ variety show “Roommate,” “I really enjoy a challenge. I’ve always taken the adventurous road over the safe one. And participating in ‘Roommate’ is just another part of that. I think revealing my daily self, my natural self, is a means of becoming better actress.”

Bae Jong Ok is also currently playing the ex-spy mother of JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong in KBS miniseries “Spy.”
