SM Entertainment’s Next Comeback Expected to Be by a Unit Group

SM Entertainment has successfully debuted SHINee’s Taemin and Super Junior’s Kyuhyun as solo singers last year. They continued this trend with SHINee’s Jonghyun and f(x)’s Amber this year. Many are curious as to who will have a comeback in March. According to news outlet MyDaily, insiders are speculating that a unit group will promote in March.

One insider told MyDaily on February 25, “SM Entertainment is preparing a unit group’s new album and surprise the public. It is highly likely that the artist to promote after Amber is not a solo singer nor a group, but rather a unit group.”

The agency has a variety of unit groups. Girls’ Generation’s TaeTiSeo, Super Junior’s D&E (Donghae&Eunhyuk), Super Junior’s KRY (Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, and Yesung), SM the Ballad, and M&D (Heechul&Jungmo) have all done well as unit groups. There is a possibility that instead of an existing unit group making a comeback, a new unit group could debut.

Nothing has been confirmed yet.
