Ga In to Make Comeback with Album Named After Eve from the Bible
Brown Eyed Girls member Ga In is making a solo comeback next month after one year!
On February 26, Ga In’s management agency APOP Entertainment revealed, “Ga In will release a new album entitled ‘hawwah’ in mid-March.”
A picture of the logo for the new album was also revealed.
APOP producer Jo Young Cheol recently updated Ga In fans on the upcoming album through his personal SNS. On February 15, he wrote, “Recording for Ga In complete. When producing an album, there is bound to be one or two songs that you are not completely happy with. However, this time, [I’m] satisfied with all of them.”
There is all the more anticipation for Ga In’s new album as it will be the first album released from the label since APOP Entertainment merged with Yoon Jong Shin’s agency Mystic89.
Meanwhile, “hawwah,” which means “life,” is the Korean name for Eve from the book of Genesis in the Bible. Created from one of Adam’s ribs, Eve is the first woman that God creates. Satan, who takes the form of a serpent, tempts Eve into commiting the first sin in the world by taking a bite of out a forbidden fruit. “hawwah” is reportedly Ga In’s modern interpretation of the Biblical character.
