Thunder Confirmed to Return with New MBC Drama Since Departure from MBLAQ

It has been revealed that former MBLAQ member Thunder will be returning to the public eye with the confirmation of his casting in a new MBC weekend drama.

On March 2, a representative of MBC’s drama department told OSEN, “Thunder recently made his decision to appear in ‘Let the Girl Cry.’”

This will be his first official activity in four months since departing from MBLAQ in December of last year. He will be greeting fans and viewers as an actor, as he is set to take on the role of Ha Hee Ra’s son, Hyun Seo in the drama. In the storyline, Hyun Seo is a student that was raised in a well-to-do background, but has a dark character.

“Let the Girl Cry” is a story about the difficult process of forgiveness, as it focuses on a woman who quits her job after her only son dies, and begins to work at a restaurant in front of the school he attended in an attempt to not forget the memories of her son.

Meanwhile, the drama is scheduled to air this coming April.
