KBS' "Happy Sunday" Variety Shows Dominate Ratings for 25 Straight Weeks

KBS’ Sunday evening variety corner “Happy Sunday,” which consists of “Superman Returns” and “1 Night 2 Days,” has dominated viewer ratings for 25 straight weeks.

According to viewer ratings research company Nielsen Korea on March 2, the latest March 1 broadcasts of “Superman Returns” and “1 Night 2 Days” recorded an impressive 14.7 percent national viewer rating, continuing its streak of beating out competing variety shows for first place.

SBS’ Sunday variety lineup “Good Sunday,” which consists of “K-Pop Star 4” and “Running Man,” came in second place with an 11.1 percent viewer rating, while MBC counterpart “Sunday Night” (“Animals” and “Real Men”) came in third with 8.4 percent.
