Kim So Eun to Star Alongside Aaron Yan in Korea-China Co-Production Film
Actress Kim So Eun will be making an official entrance into the Chinese film market this year.
According to the star’s representative, she recently accepted a casting offer to star in Korea-China co-production film “Sky Lantern.” The filming will start in mid-April in Shenzhen, China.
Co-produced by Korea’s Show East and China’s TF Entertainment, the movie will be directed by Park Young Hun, who has previously worked on films like “Bravo My Life,” “Innocent,” and “Addicted.”
Kim So Eun has been cast for the role of Meilin, a lantern designer who feels hurt after losing a loved one. She will be acting alongside Taiwanese top star Aaron Yan, a member of idol group Fahrenheit.
The actress’ agency revealed, “In the future, we are planning to pursue activities in both Korea and China.”
The film is expected to premiere in November in both countries.
