Cha Tae Hyun Bids Farewell to "Cool Kiz on the Block"

Actor Cha Tae Hyun will no longer appear on KBS2TV’s sports variety show “Cool Kiz on the Block.”

According to the channel, Cha Tae Hyun decided to leave the show after filming his last episode on March 4. While he wished to continue as an active member, his future drama schedule forced him to depart from the show. The actor was recently cast for the variety-themed drama “Producer,” which will begin shooting shortly. The members and producers bid emotional farewell to Cha Tae Hyun last week.

“We currently have no plans to recruit a new member to fill the seat left vacant by Cha Tae Hyun. The jokgu series will continue with members Kang Ho Dong, Jung Hyung Don, Yang Sang Guk, Ahn Jung Hwan, Hong Kyung Min, Lee Kyu Han, Sam Okyere, and Baro,” a representative of KBS explained.

The last episode featuring Cha Tae Hyun is set to air on March 17.
