Kim So Eun Prepares a (Sort of) Surprise Birthday Event for Song Jae Rim on “We Got Married”
On the March 14 broadcast of MBC’s “We Got Married,” Kim So Eun and Song Jae Rim continue their vacation in Jejudo.
Kim So Eun prepares a surprise birthday event for her virtual hubby, whose recent birthday the couple hasn’t had a chance to celebrate.
While grocery shopping, the actress sneaks in seaweed into the cart (It’s Korean tradition to have seaweed soup on your birthday). Unable to buy a cake, she uses Choco Pies, yogurt, and strawberries to make a makeshift cake for Song Jae Rim.
As both are preparing the meal, Kim So Eun attempts to be discreet about making the soup and cake, but Song Jae Rim finds out and says, “Should I act like I didn’t see it?”
But Kim So Eun does manage to genuinely surprise Song Jae Rim with the perfect present, a pair of motorcycle boots.
She hands it to him saying, “This is something I wish you didn’t have.”
“Don’t run away. If you do, I’ll burn the bike,” she jokes.
Song Jae Rim is clearly touched by the thoughtful gift and tries them on immediately, saying they fit him like a glove.
Meanwhile, the March 14 episode also features new couples Lee Jong Hyun—Gong Seung Yeon and Henry—Yewon.
