“Infinity Challenge” to Be Remade in China, Scheduled for October Premiere
MBC‘s long-running popular variety show “Infinity Challenge” will be remade in China.
One of China’s biggest broadcasting networks, CCTV, has made a deal with MBC to remake “Infinity Challenge” in China. Chinese production house Starry Production, known for producing “Voice of China,” will also be involved.
MBC announced this news officially on March 17 in response to various rumors about a Chinese “Infinity Challenge” remake that have been coming up in recent times, involving several different broadcasting channels.
The first season of the Chinese “Infinity Challenge” is planned to have 12 episodes. MBC will be collaborating with CCTV to produce the first season, sending some of their producers to China to help with the production.
The remake is scheduled to air in the golden 8pm time slot on Sundays on CCTV. The cast has yet to be announced.
