'Heard It Through the Grapevine' Ratings Continue to Rise, Will It Surpass 'Shine or Go Crazy?'

SBS‘s Monday-Tuesday drama “Heard It Through the Grapevine” has broken 10 percent in viewer ratings with its seventh episode and is quickly catching up to current first place MBC drama “Shine or Go Crazy.”

According to ratings research company Nielsen Korea, the seventh episode of “Heard It Through the Grapevine” recorded 10.1 percent by the national standard, which marks the drama’s highest rating yet and a 1.1 percent increase from the sixth episode which recorded 9 percent.

MBC’s “Shine or Go Crazy” maintained its first place slot with 11.7 percent while KBS 2TV’s “Blood” was left in the dust with a 4.3 percent viewer rating.

Meanwhile, “Heard It Through the Grapevine” is a black comedy about the absurdities of the upper echelons of society starring MBLAQ’s Lee Joon and model-actress Go Ah Sung.
