BEAST to Open Independent Japanese Label BEAST MUSIC

Idol group BEAST recently held a press conference in Japan celebrating five years since their Japanese debut, where they announced that they are forming their own local label, BEAST MUSIC.

Cube Entertainment said to Star News, “BEAST MUSIC is BEAST’s independent Japanese label. Through BEAST MUSIC, the group will be taking on more Japanese promotions.”

Moreover, as a gift to the fans, the group announced that they would be releasing new songs for 10 consecutive months, a first for any K-pop artist. The first song, “One,” was dropped on March 17 through iTunes Japan. “I hope that this will be an opportunity for us to get closer with fans,” said leader Yoon Doojoon.

BEAST first stepped into the Japanese music industry in 2010, after which they saw great success, bringing out enough fans to fill arena tours. With their last Japanese release in November, “Kimi Wa Dou,” the group hit number one on the Oricon daily singles chart.
