Child Actor Park Ji Bin to Enlist in Military in May

Award-winning child actor Park Ji Bin, now 20 years old (born March 14, 1995), is already planning to enlist for his mandatory military service on May 26.

One industry insider said on March 24, “[Park Ji Bin’s] sister’s wedding is in May. Immediately after the ceremony, he will be leaving to serve.”

The actor actually had plans to enlist last year, but due to various circumstances, leaving Key East Entertainment among other things, the actor delayed his enlistment date. According to the insider, Park Ji Bin plans on returning to screen a whole new person after wrapping up his service, with a more mature and adult image, as he still has a very young look.

Park Ji Bin debuted at the young age of six, in the musical “Tommy.” He went on to become a drama and film actor, appearing in works such as “Yi San,” “Queen Seonduk,” “Boys Over Flowers,” etc.
