EXO’s Chanyeol Reveals He Cried After Watching His Debut Film in Theaters
EXO member Chanyeol recently revealed that he shed a few tears after watching his first-ever film.
On March 26, a press preview for the movie “Salute D’Amour” opened up at a CGV theater in Wangsimni. The cast members, including Park Geun Hyung, Yoon Yeo Jung, Moon Ga Young, and Chanyeol, as well as the director, Kang Je Gyu, were in attendance at the event.
During the press preview, Chanyeol was asked how he felt after watching his debut film on the big screen. He expressed, “I cried so much that it’s embarrassing for me to have my picture taken [right now]. That’s how much I cried. I also shed a lot of tears when I first received the scenario for the movie.”
The EXO member continued, “I knew everything [that happened in the movie], so I thought I wouldn’t cry. But I think I cried 100 times more than when I read the scenario. I wanted to watch the movie as soon as possible and it was fun getting to see it through a press preview. I hope everyone shows the film a lot of love.”
Meanwhile, “Salute D’Amour” is scheduled to premiere in theaters this coming April 9.
