JJCC Joins BEAST, B.I.G and More at Charity Concert

It has been announced that Jackie Chan-managed hip hop group JJCC will take part in the “Giveme Challenge Festival” in Jamsil on March 28.

The “Giveme Challenge Festival,” a charity concert being held in support of important social causes, is now set to feature performances by BEAST, JJCC, B.I.G, SUS4, NOM and Atomic Kiz. As a function of the festival, rice paddies will be planted to help feed hungry children as well as the underprivileged. In addition to the concert, the artists are also scheduled to partake in weeding and harvesting activities. The harvested rice will then be donated in each of the stars’ names.

After gaining attention with songs “At First,” “BingBingBing,” and “Fire,” JJCC won the “Rookie Artist of the Year Award” at the Korean Cultural Entertainment Awards last year. Recently, in celebration of their one year anniversary since their debut and White Day (March 14), the group has been performing guerrilla concerts each Saturday in Hongdae. The group is also expected to make its comeback with a new album at the beginning of next month.
