G-Dragon’s Lookalike Shares about His YG Audition in Front of Yang Hyun Suk

The April 4 broadcast of SBS variety show “Star King” featured a “Doppelganger King” special where a number of celebrity lookalikes appeared, including G-Dragon’s doppelganger Jo Kyu Min.

On the show, Jo Kyu Min mimicks not just G-Dragon’s looks but also his stage mannerisms, performing G-Dragon and Taeyang‘s “Good Boy.”

He also shares about aspiring to be a YG Entertainment artist, “I wanted to get into YG Entertainment, so I would stand outside and stare at the headquarters. Foreign fans saw me and caused a commotion [thinking I was G-Dragon].”

Jo Kyu Min continues, “Later I got the chance to meet chairman Yang Hyun Suk,” saying that even Yang Hyun Suk acknowledged his likeness to G-Dragon.

“I was really lucky and got the chance to audition, but auditioning in front of the chairman made me choke. Unfortunately, I didn’t make the cut,” Jo Kyun Min shares.
