Singer Kim Jin Pyo Suffers Major Accident During Racing Match

Singer Kim Jin Pyo lives for speed and is one of the most well known stars that enjoy racing. However, on April 12, according to a report by Dispatch, during the CJ Hello Mobile Super Race Championship held at Korean International Circuit, an accident happened in the blink of an eye.

Only a minute after he had started his Super 6000 race, he collided into the car in front of him, ending up flying above its roof. After flipping three times, Kim Jin Pyo’s car crashed into a fence.

However, thankfully, it has been reported that Kim Jin Pyo has suffered no major injuries. He was immediately taken to the hospital, and during a phone call with Dispatch, his representative said, “No wounds have been found by the X-Ray and CT scan. He just has a few bruises.”

The cause of the accident was break lock. Kim Jin Pyo had issues with handling the car after the break system was locked down. He explained the scene himself, saying that he couldn’t control the car because of the break lock.

Four hours after his accident, Kim Jin Pyo returned to paddock zone. Despite his major accident, he still had on a bright expression and rather was apologetic for causing so much trouble.

Currently, Kim Jin Pyo is back on the racing circuit as the both the director of the racing team ECSTA and an actual racer. A representative of ECSTA said, “Kim Jin Pyo is both a racer and a director. He will make sure everyone gets grounded again and will prepare for his next race. Though he currently has no external injuries, we will have to keep a look out for any aftereffects.”
