It has been revealed that Red Velvet’s latest title track “Ice Cream Cake” was named as the most viewed K-Pop music video for the month of March 2015, not only in the United States, but around the world as well.
On April 9, Billboard released an article titled, “Most Viewed K-Pop Videos in America & Around the World: March 2015,” which named the Top 10 ranking of K-Pop music videos that recorded the most number of views all throughout last month.
“Ice Cream Cake” came in at the top of the list for both America and worldwide, proving their popularity on a global scale. Billboard also stated that while ‘veteran’ artists usually top the monthly rankings, Red Velvet was able to place first despite being a rookie group.
The music video of the group’s double title track “Automatic” also placed on the lists, coming in at number four in America and number six worldwide.
