Dal Shabet's

Girl group Dal Shabet is hitting some red lights as they begin their comeback activities.

According to a KBS associate on April 15, Dal Shabet’s title song “Joker” from their new album “Joker Is Alive” was deemed unfit for broadcast for sounding similar to a swear word.

Furthermore, the phrase “Joker I want it / It’s getting hard to breathe / Baby goodnight” was pointed out for its sexual implications.

This is devastating news for Dal Shabet, since it is their first comeback in one year and three months, and Dal Shabet’s comeback activities seem to be hindered as a result.

The girl group’s management company Happy Face Entertainment explained, “We were trying to portray the love story between Joker and Harley Quinn and there were no other intentions. We are debating whether we should change the title and lyrics of the song.”

Another song from the album, “I’m Not,” was also deemed unfit for broadcast by MBC for mentioning the specific name of a messenger.

Meanwhile, Dal Shabet’s new album “Joker Is Alive” was revealed through a variety of online music sites on April 15.
