Jung Yong Hwa Discusses His Marriage Plans on "Picnic Live"
CNBLUE frontman Jung Yong Hwa revealed his thoughts on marriage for the latest episode of MBC Music’s “Picnic Live.”
During the filming for the episode, Jung Yong Hwa met with single women in their thirties for a special picnic, the topic of which centered on whether the singer can ever get married.
Suggesting potential marriage partners for him, women in the audience listed names like Chun Song Yi of “My Love From The Stars,” Oh Ri Jin of “Kill Me, Heal Me,” and even grandmother Kang Gye Yeol from the documentary “My Love, Don’t Cross that River.” Responding to all of the women’s recommendations, Jung Yong Hwa then said, “It would be great if it was a girl that would understand my profession, listen to music with me, and someone I could talk about music with.”
Then, after revealing that he has never thought about marriage seriously, Jung Yong Hwa said that he wants to get married by “45 to 47 at the latest. Any later than that and I’m afraid that I’ll lose to the other dads when playing sports.”
The singer also played live renditions of “Last Leaf” and “Like a Child,” finishing his set with encore performances of “Mileage” and “Energy.” Fans can catch the full episode when it airs April 16 at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. KST on MBC Music.
