Kim Tae Hee and Rain Officially Deny Wedding Rumors

Kim Tae Hee and Rain have both released official statements denying rumors that they are preparing to get married.

Rain’s agency, Cube Entertainment, said on April 17 that “Despite earlier reports, there has been no meeting between the families regarding marriage and there are currently no specific plans to that effect.”

Meanwhile, Kim Tae Hee’s agency, Lua Entertainment, also maintained that “Kim Tae Hee has no plans to be married within the year. While it is difficult to comment because it is a personal relationship, if the two were to get married they would likely follow custom and announce it through an official notice.”

An earlier media report alleged that a source close to the couple had claimed that they were planning to marry by the end of the year. “The two have obtained permission to marry,” it claimed. “They have begun preparations for the wedding, including asking close acquaintances for help with filming the ceremony.”

Meanwhile, after being caught by paparazzi on a date in January 2013, Rain and Kim Tae Hee have been carrying on with their relationship publicly.
