Jackie Chan Sends Food Truck to the Set of "Angry Mom" for Kim Hee Sun
The cast and crew of “Angry Mom” were treated to a surprise meal by international superstar Jackie Chan, who sent a food truck to the drama filming set to support his friend actress Kim Hee Sun!
Although Jackie Chan couldn’t come in person, he sent the members of his agency’s K-pop group JJCC to help serve the food on his behalf. They presented Kim Hee Sun with bouquets of flowers and Jackie Chan also sent her a video message of support.
Jackie Chan and Kim Hee Sun’s friendship began when they met on the set of the film “The Myth” back in 2005. He later invited her to his charity concert last year called “Jackie Chan 2014 Peace & Love & Friendship.”
During the press conference that took place this day, the actress said, “My generation grew up watching him. My character Jo Kang Ja is a good fighter, so our director had the idea that it would be great if we could get Jackie Chan to do a cameo as my instructor.”
Unfortunately, the idea didn’t pan out because of conflicts in Jackie Chan’s schedule. “Instead, he said he would send me a food truck, which has been brought here today.”
What a great friend! You can check out Kim Hee Sun in episodes of “Angry Mom,” which airs next on April 22.
