Petition Against ZE:A’s Kwanghee as Sixth Man of “Infinity Challenge” Surpasses 5,000 Signatures
After ZE:A‘s Kwanghee was chosen as the sixth member of the variety show “Infinity Challenge,” a petition against Kwanghee’s joining of the group was created on April 18, and as of April 21 KST, the number of signatures in support of the petition has surpassed 5,000.
Despite the growing support of Kwanghee’s removal from the show, the staff of “Infinity Challenge” stood behind the soon-to-be-new member and said, “Kwanghee will have to adjust well. We wish such a strict criteria is not set for something that is suppose to bring laughter. If Kwanghee is regarded with an open heart, he will do well.”
The reasoning behind the petition for Kwanghee’s removal from the show is that he belongs to the same agency as Yewon, who was recently embroiled in a controversy over her use of informal language to her senior and lying about. The petition states, “Yewon is shamelessly appearing on TV, despite the fact she deceived everyone and never sincerely apologized. While her managing agency is doing nothing to resolve the situation, isn’t Kwanghee’s character obvious if he is also a part of this agency?”
Both Kwanghee and Yewon belong to Star Empire Entertainment.
