Kisum Reveals She Almost Debuted as a Girl Group Member

Though Kisum is known as a fierce female rapper, she revealed that she almost debuted as a girl group member.

Recently, Kisum collaborated with bnt for a photo shoot under the theme “Kisum, Blossom.” Held at the amusement park Yongma Land, and led by the photographer Jo Hye Ryung, the photo shoot truly captured Kisum’s beauty.

During the interview that went along with the photo shoot, Kisum mentioned G Bus, the platform that truly promoted her.

“G Bus really helped me make a debut on TV,” she said.

“I used to be a trainee for five years,” she continued to confess. “I almost debuted as a girl group.”

Meanwhile, she also flashed her friendship with Cheetah, saying, “I see Cheetah a lot these days because we have a similar schedule. She is actually a lovely person, but everyone thinks she’s super fierce.”

On her experiences with “Unpretty Rapstar,” she said, “I was really doubtful on whether or not I should join the crew. However, I really wanted to show the world that I’m a ready rapper.” She also added, “The Korean female rapper field is like a blue ocean because nobody has really succeeded after Yoon Mi Rae.”
