Joo Ji Hoon Talks about Playing Villain in Latest Movie
Actor Joo Ji Hoon recently had a photo shoot with fashion magazine InStyle, posing sensually in a simple suit.
During the interview with the magazine after the shoot, he brought up his villain role in the upcoming historical movie “The Treacherous,” which he stars alongside Kim Kang Woo.
“It was a dangerous decision to take on a villain role, but I think it’s part of continuing my acting career. Whatever the outcome may be, it is important to try different things.”
He also added that when he first got a text message from the director of the movie to star in the film, he accepted right away. “I’ve worked a lot with director Min Ky Dong, so I immediately told him I’d do it.”
Joo Ji Hoon plays Chae Hong in “The Treacherous,” a vassal to the King who offered 10,000 women to the monarch to obtain power greater than the King’s. The movie will open in theaters in late May.
