Chae Yeon Revealed to Have Been Involved in Car Accident in China
It has been reported that singer Chae Yeon was involved in a minor car accident while in China.
On May 4, a representative of the singer’s agency revealed to Star News, “Chae Yeon recently got into a car accident in Beijing, China. Fortunately, it was a very minor accident, so she has no major injuries.”
According to the agency rep, Chae Yeon has been going back and forth between Korea and China to work on her new album. It is said that the accident occurred in Beijing while she was on her way to the recording studio for her upcoming comeback. While there was damage to the vehicle in which the singer was riding, Chae Yeon and her manager sustained no major injuries.
The rep added, “We have heard that she has not been hurt anywhere so this will not interfere with her future activities. She plans to release a new album within the year as scheduled.”
Meanwhile, Chae Yeon is currently appearing on SBS’ variety program “Some Guys, Some Girls.”
