f(x) Shoots Ice Cream CF without Sulli, SM Entertainment Clarifies

Members of f(x) excluding Sulli recently shot a commercial for ice cream brand Baskin Robbins.

The SM Entertainment group has been chosen to be the models for the ice cream brand’s bingsoo, and they will release a “Bingsoo song” for the summer. The group’s leader Victoria posted a sneak peek of the commercial on her Instagram account.

The fans consequently picked up on Sulli not being present in any of the behind-the-scenes footage released so far, as only four members can be seen.

Regarding this issue, SM Entertainment told the media, “The reason why Sulli is not in the CF is because she was on a hiatus when we signed the contract with Baskin Robbins. There isn’t another reason behind it.”

A representative from Baskin Robbins also clarified, “Sulli was excluded from the contract since the beginning. When we were finalizing the contract, her scandal with Choiza blew up. After discussing the issue with SM, we decided to go ahead with the project without her.”

f(x)’s video for Baskin Robbins, as well as the photo shoot, will be released via the brand’s social media sites.
