Uee Confirmed as Female Lead for New SBS Drama "True Romance"

After School‘s Uee has been confirmed to star alongside Sung Joon, Park Hyung Sik, and Im Ji Yeon in SBS’ upcoming drama “True Romance.”

Formerly known as “Chaebol’s Daughter,” the mystery melodrama talks about the romance between Jang Yoon Ha (Uee), the daughter of a chaebol family who hides her identity to find true love, and Choi Joon Ki (Sung Joon), a smart and cold-hearted young man who appears friendly on the outside, but quietly takes advantage of others.

Uee shared her thoughts on the casting, “I am happy to receive the opportunity to act in such a good drama. I will do my best, so please look forward to it.”

“True Romance” is expected to premiere next month after “Heard It Through the Grapevine” ends its run.
