Sunmi to Rejoin Wonder Girls for a Comeback?

Fans are abuzz with speculation after it was rumored that Sunmi will be coming back with the Wonder Girls.

Min Won Ki, known as Wonder Girls’ Sunye‘s uncle, wrote on his SNS that Sunmi will be rejoining the Wonder Girls at the end of the year. In March, he posted a picture of himself with the former Wonder Girls member, “This is Wonder Girls’ Sunmi. She will come back after rejoining the group at the second half of the year.”

To the post, JYP Entertainment responded, “We did see that it was posted online, but we can’t tell who wrote it. It’s hard to even confirm that Sunye’s uncle wrote it.” They also added, “There are continuous rumors of Sunmi’s rejoining, but on the agency side, nothing has been decided.”

Meanwhile, Sunmi debuted with the Wonder Girls in 2007 and left the group in 2010, citing academics and health issues. She is currently active as a solo singer.
