“Hidden Singer” to Return Later This Year with Fourth Season
jTBC‘s popular music variety show “Hidden Singer” will be making its return with a fourth season in the latter half of this year.
They are currently in the process of recruiting participants for the upcoming season, as announced by the broadcasting network on May 13.
They are recruiting for contestants who can sing like currently active singers such as Kim Dong Ryul, Hyorin of Sistar, G-Dragon, and Psy, among many others. In season four, they may hold “rematches” with singers who appeared on previous seasons, such as Baek Ji Young, Park Jung Hyun, and Wheesung. They are also recruiting talents who can sing like legendary deceased musicians, including Michael Jackson, Yoo Jae Ha, and Shin Hae Chul. Furthermore, they seem to be branching out into different genres, as they’ve specified particular rock singers and rappers on their advertisement.
Each season of “Hidden Singer” has been widely popular, creating much buzz with each episode. The format for the show has also been sold to NBC in the U.S.
