Girl's Day's "Hello Bubble" Tops Music Charts by Surprise
Despite stiff competition, Girl’s Day’s new project single “Hello Bubble” has topped music charts by surprise.
At 10 a.m. on May 13 KST, “Hello Bubble” took first place on the Mnet, Olleh, Daum, and Cyworld music real-time charts. The single is also doing well on Soribada, Genie, and Melon, placing in second, fourth, and sixth place respectively.
A representative from the group’s management agency comments, “Because it’s a project single album, we did not expect good results” and “We think the lyrics and melody, which are fun and easy to listen to, made the song approachable to many people. It’s all thanks to the support of fans. Thank you.”
“Hello Bubble” is not an official Girl’s Day comeback single but a collaboration with a hair product brand that the group is currently endorsing.
