During a press conference of tvN‘s “Three Meals a Day – Jeongseon Country Edition,” producer Na Young Suk shared his rising concerns with having to compete with the new KBS drama “Producer,” set to air around the same time frame as his show.

“First of all, [‘Producer’] is impressive. Just at a glimpse, the cast, the writers, and the director all give off an ‘Avengers‘ aura. It’s probably going to do well. I’m greatly intimidated by it, too. Thankfully, ‘Three Meals a Day’ is a long-term project while ‘Producer’ goes by seasons, which means [its popularity] will most likely die down in about a month. We might have a chance if we pull through it for one month,”  said the producer.

He continued, “We’re setting up a slow-but-steady plan. I hope the storm passes by quickly,” and added, “I’m very well acquainted with producer Seo Soo Min, as well as other people in the cast and crew [of ‘Producer’], so it’s weird. I can’t really say that I want [‘Producer’] to do well, but at the same time, it’s hard to say that I want it to do poorly, either. It’s complicated.”

Meanwhile, “Three Meals a Day – Jeongseon Country Edition” will air on May 15 at 9:45 p.m. KST.
