Bae Yong Joon’s Ex-Girlfriend Receives Criticism After Congratulating His Marriage

After the surprising news of actor Bae Yong Joon’s upcoming marriage to actress Park Soo Jin hit the media, the actor’s former girlfriend sent her congratulations, which she shared publicly through SNS.

On May 14, Lee Sa Kang, who is known as Bae Yong Joon’s ex-girlfriend, revealed through a post on her personal Instagram account that the two remain good friends following their breakup. The caption reads, “Hollywood friendship. So happy for you,” along with a screencaptured photo of text messages exchanged between them.

Her initial text message reads, “Congratulations^^ sincerely^^,” to which the actor responded, “Thank you~^^.”

However, fans and netizens caught on soon after and began to criticize Lee Sa Kang for openly sharing the messages sent between the two people in private, as well as some questioning how Bae Yong Joon’s bride-to-be, Park Soo Jin, would feel if she came across it. Lee Sa Kang has since deleted the post.
