KeyEast Reveals How Bae Yong Joon and Park Soo Jin First Met, Denies Shotgun Wedding

With the news of Bae Yong Joon and Park Soo Jin’s confirmed plans for marriage taking the Internet by storm, agency KeyEast has stepped forward to clear up the rumors surrounding the couple.

On May 15, a media outlet reported that the connection between Bae Yong Joon and Park Soo Jin was actor Park Seo Joon. The report claimed that Bae Yong Joon had invited Park Seo Joon to have a meal together for Lunar New Year, to which Park Seo Joon brought his close friend and fellow KeyEast artist, Park Soo Jin.

However, a representative of KeyEast clarified, “It is true that the agency has gatherings to eat together from time to time. At that time, Bae Yong Joon and Park Soo Jin felt that they communicated well with one another. The two became interested in each other after finding they have common interests, not because Park Seo Joon connected the two of them. Park Seo Joon was simply there with the rest of the company.”

Also, in response to speculations about the couple’s rushed marriage, the agency rep emphasized, “It is not a shotgun wedding.”
