“Producer” Kicks Off Strong with Double-Digit Viewer Ratings

The star-studded drama “Producer” kicks things off with a strong start after airing its premiere episode on May 15.

According to Nielsen Korea, KBS’ new Friday-Saturday drama, “Producer,” earned viewership ratings in the double digits for the first episode. It recorded nationwide viewer ratings of 10.1%.

These days, it has been rare to see any program start off with ratings surpassing 10%, but with the drama’s cast lineup, scriptwriter, director, as well as viewers’ high anticipation, “Producer” seems to have accomplished this feat.

However, some are questioning whether or not the drama will be able to continue this streak with its second episode, as the premiere has been receiving mixed feedback from critics.

“Producer” will be airing Fridays and Saturdays at 9:15 p.m. (KST).
