SISTAR to Go Up Against Girls' Generation with June Comeback?

Girl group SISTAR will be making a comeback for the first time in about a year.

According to associates in the industry, SISTAR has confirmed their comeback for June and is now in the final stages of preparation.

The associate said, “SISTAR is working towards a mid-June comeback and is in the process of finalizing a comeback date.” They also revealed, “They are in the final stages of working on their album. They’re putting in a lot of effort into their title song.”

This comeback will be their first new song since their special album “SWEET & SOUR” last August.

Meanwhile, Girls’ Generation has also been slated to make a comeback in the beginning of June with a full album. It is their first album for them in one year and four months, and will be their first album since Jessica‘s withdrawal from the group.

Since SISTAR and Girls’ Generation are both known as the national girl groups, it will be interesting to see how they will perform is they end up going head to head with each other directly.
